Fire, You’re Fired!

I created this story-based coloring book for the children of Altadena, CA, after the Eaton Fire.

Coloring lets children transform unnamed feelings into lines, shapes, and colors on the page. Organizing their feelings into a story helps children give meaning to their experiences. Over time, these integrated memories can give children a stronger sense of safety and control.
