Fire, You’re Fired!
Fire, You’re Fired! is a free story-based children’s coloring book PDF created by Allison Garwood, a resident of Altadena, CA.
The original version includes cartoon illustrations of firefighters, large fire and rubble. Exposure Therapy uses imagery of a feared object or memory while someone is in a safe environment. Studies show appropriate exposure to stressors helps alleviate anxiety, phobias, and PTSD.
For those who do not want to be exposed to stressor illustrations, I created an edited version. I redrew several pages, replacing images with small fires, and removing large fires, firefighters, and rubble.
