Bonjour! I am Allison’s brain.

I love to help Allison write and draw!

When I type with my magical unicorn horn, the keyboard sounds like tap ……. tap …… tap ….. tap tap ….. tap …… tap ….. tap. Each picture book takes 1,042 years to write, and 1,407 more years to draw.

I used to help Allison create comic strips. Some of them are old. Do you like the artwork you created a long time ago? Neither does Allison. But, she likes you. So you can see some samples of older work if you tap “Comics” above.

I live in Allison’s head in Altadena, Ca. A big, scary fire burned down most of our town in January 2025. Allison’s family was lucky because their house did not catch fire. But many of Allison’s friends lost their homes. They are sad, and she and I are sad with them. Fortunately people help each other in Altadena. I helped Allison create a free picture book PDF for Altadena kids: Fire, You’re Fired! * coming January 2026! * #AltadenaStrong

Allison lives with her water polo loving son, country music loving husband, and two poorly trained dogs: Leroy and The Captain.

Currently, I am helping Allison earn her MFA in Writing for Children and Young Adults at Vermont College of

Fine Arts.
