FIRE, YOU’RE FIRED! is the book I created to help kids from Altadena (my home), Sierra Madre, and Pacific Palisades process the incomprehensible. Families are invited to download it for free as often as you like.

Fire, You're fired!
After clumsy Fire accidentally destroyed the town, Bear, Coyote, and Rabbit decided to fire Fire. But did they go too far?
A coloring book with thick lines lets children explore big feelings as they color the pictures throughout the story.
TRIGGER WARNING: I drew the fire and the aftermath for kids to use the physical act of coloring to help them process their trauma. I ask adults to please pre-read the book to make sure it is appropriate for each child’s particular situation.
