Allison creates quirky, offbeat picture books, board books, and early chapter books for the silly goose market.

Formerly a comic strip creator (NEUROTICA, Haiku Ewe, and Petunia & Dre) with Andrews McMeel Universal Uclick, Allison transitioned to kidlit, enrolling in the Vermont College of Fine Arts MFA program for Writing for Children and Young Adults in 2025.

“The Craft of Wonder” blog explores developing brain science in young children and writing craft tools with mentor texts.

Allison is available for freelance editing, proofreading, writing, and illustration.
